I think being good at them would be appreciated by fans of those games but for the general audience being able to monologue and make quick jokes and interact with chat while playing them would be more important.
Specially in a game like CIv there's a lot of shit to meme due to the funny NPC interactions and how out of control things can get.
But she needs to be at least good enough to be competent and get shit done without being stuck too much.
