there's an infographic being tossed around in some threeads, showing viewership change from 2021-2022 and 2022-2023. it doesn't look good for holoen
so when a new gen debuts, and has a really strong change to be a gen of 5 views, and to perhaps reverse the recline, it's very selfish to try and stream over these new streamers who are trying to build audiences.
at the end of the day, i don't know gura's reasons for her actions, nobody does. but we can look at her actions (incredibly infrequent streams, then a return and streaming over new kouhais). she at least owes it to them to avoid the same timeslot as them for a few days, if out of being a good coworker if nothing else. why not take the late night timeslot, and let the newer members (who are in an incredibly important time for their channels) have less competition/viewership cannibalism?
gura's actions aren't reflective of good intentions.
