The basic idea is all that is needed, anything else is superfluous for the general population.
I know all 3 of these, but that's also because I like reading shit and learning everything about everything.
Most people would rather specialize and not flood their already poor heads with even more information than is needed.
This is especially the case at that time as it is usually just before people go in to employment or the tertiary education arena, both of which are hectic when you are just first starting out at a young age.
