As far as we know the confirmation of a new gen hiring status and their predebut formation and training period is like 4+ months before their debuts. The timings actually fucking match up that, if grombus got word the next gen was males, and then the next gen more Tempus, the timing matches with those periods she just lost all motivation to stream. Remember the Tempus guys and the girls share a discord - or at least used to, which is actually-very-different from StarsJP having their own. Gura could see the dudes coming in and chatting up the girls about who knows what and did not fucking like it. Clearly the aim from Omega was to turn holoEN into nijiEN 2 and it appears she wanted no part of it. And if course, she just so happened to come back in force days after vesper/magni seem to be in trouble or maybe en-route to termination and Omega disappeared and was unpersoned.
I dunno precisely what Gura's motives are but one thing she does have is a very good ability to read into the fans and what is good for Holo or not and could tell that what they were doing with tempus was counter-productive to the girls' bottom lines including her own, so acted accordingly.
