It's not even just their personalities. It's amazing it took this long for a gen whose kayfabe actually makes them a 'team,' but that small bit of lore goes a long way. Not everyone likes the Advent lore. On its own it's okayish, but by chuuba standards it's great for literally only two reasons
1. like I said, the lore sets them up as a team
and
2. for the first goddamned time in EN they let the talents have input
It turns out giving talents a model and kayfabe to use for their entire chuuba career that they have no input over is a retarded fucking idea. It's insane they ever tried it. Even if none of the omega rrats were true, he should've been fired for this alone. I don't doubt it was him. HoloCouncil's entire kayfabe was clearly just an excuse for him to get his own model and be a chuuba. He nearly ran a branch into the ground because he wanted to be a chuuba and collab with Tempus. It's incredibly obvious in retrospect.
And that's why an entire two months into debut, the best content Council has is Kronii saying the word berry to Mumei over and over. Some of it is an unfortunate set of personalities for genwide chemistry. Four 'nice girls' and a doomer, and one of the nice girls is too loud and a zoomer. Bae is obviously not cut out to be a leader, it's not really her fault, it's honestly probably her age. Mumei is autistic. Fauna is the closest thing, but she's too soft spoken and would've worked better as a lieutenant. She's the definition of a born lieutenant forced to play leader. Kronii is... Kronii. And Sana just, I won't even say anything mean, but the entire dynamic benefits from her being gone just because she quadrupled down on a chemistry aspect they had too much of.
Myth actually has good fundamental chemistry if they don't shoot themselves in the foot. Gura is actually charismatic enough to play leader but she has a bit of an avoidant personality. Ame would be amazing if she could be anything like her solo streams in collabs. Mori is actually okay in collabs. I know pink woman bad, and she really does piss me off sometimes, but deeper voice and straightman is an important texture. Ina, I don't even know, Ina is so boring I don't have anything to say about her. Kiara also has a lot of energy, and a desire to be leader, but she's menhera and nerfed herself with chicken voice.
Meanwhile, Advent has: a menhera gfe with a sex model, a deep voiced amazing vsinger onee-san with a sex model, a hilarious kusogaki, and the twins who, among a million other things, go in hard on their kayfabes than any other EN.
Are they awkward sometimes? Sure. It's been a week. But we're getting content. There's actually funny shit to watch, like Fuwamoco incapacitating Shiori, or "excuse me?" kino from Mococo toward Nerissa. And honestly, just the littlest bit of friction and sarcasm goes a long way. I don't care if you think goth woman bad. It's a million times better getting faux pas out of the way and having a few "mean" jokes, than to have a hugbox that makes everyone sick of each other until Ame finally calls Gura a "fucking bitch" under her breath and they stop collabing for an entire year.
Also, Fuwamoco is amazing for gen chemistry. It's an amazing gimmick, it always makes sure at least two people in a collab have synergy, and it's like every gen wide collab has JP kino and energy. Them sticking to their kayfabe is going to tardwrangle the others more than anything else.
