Mel Nekomata's real birthday is February 29th and Baelz Hakos VTuber birthday is February 29th. I remember Mel crying on stream both last year and this year because she had a crush on that fag Azukano who is a huge Bae fan so he celebrated Bae's birthday and didn't even care to tell Mel happy birthday. I can only imagine Mel will cry on stream in 2024 during her birthday since it only comes every 4 years and everyone will be celebrating Bae's "birthday" and won't give a shit to celebrate Mel's birthday.
Also just to clarify, Mel has been around as Mel longer than Bae has been Bae so this isn't an instance of Mel stealing from Hololive members. Yes, she stole the name Mel Nekomata because they were established way before she was even a VTuber but her birthday being February 29th and her failed VTuber persona Nerissa Delfina sharing birthdays or names with new Hololive talents is just poor timing.
