>but why limit yourself to HololiveBecause my oshi has been in the company since it was still small (gen 0) and grew with it, and because Hololive had proven, mostly with their JP hires and arguably with their ID/EN hires, that their hiring process and standards ensure that their vtubers are qualified for the position. I may not like all of them, but others do, and they contribute to Hololive's popularity.
You (not necessarily you specifically but others that shit on Holofans) joke about the "Hololive seal of approval" but it's literally what it is. I trust the brand enough to expect that whoever they hire as their Vtuber is of good quality. I don't want to bother looking for diamonds in the rough with indies/small corpos, especially since I also have an oshi that I'm never changing, and so I leave that up to Hololive. As I mentioned earlier, the twins specifically seemed like they'd fit in Hololive and I expected them to be recruited, as they did, along with a pretty great overall gen, so this further reinforces that Hololive's quality control is really good.
