I think he tried to lean too hard into some pathetic kayfabe (he doesn't even try anymore) of being an unlucky suffering clown. But he came off as hating his chat/fans more so than anything.
He also ignored his genmates and only adhered himself to Magni (their gay fortnite arc got old as shit) for clout then immediately dismissed him as soon as he got in trouble with management. Bettel feels like a nepo hire through and through.
He just seems fake, like he's purely doing it for money and not because he enjoys streaming or his fans or whatever. He just gives off a sleezy vibe.
Then everyone found out he's fucking Froot and well, that pretty much tells you everything you need to know about him.
When you contrast that with how attentive and friendly Hakka and Shinri come off it's a big difference. Even Flayon, despite his whole persona being a kusogaki femboy, comes off as more genuine and nice.
