>>5564207the way jannying works since about 2012-2013ish has been increasingly like this:
>oh shit>I don't like that post>I'm gonna supa-report it (gets sent to mod or supajanny, depending on the year)>what kind of ban do I want to give them? (1 day, 3 day, one board, all board, etc)THEN
>what kind of rules can I use to justify this? Now at first a lot of mods (like rapeape-types) weren't about this bullshit. But as Moot started having sex with sjws, you can imagine what happened over time.
Luckily, Hiroshimoot's issues are typically confined to 2ch issues with jim (flip jim that's fat and wore Q to congress, not my boy who shits on food network hosts), so usually it's only hit or miss, not guaranteed POZ.
The Janitors here for instance are moody, but mostly alright. I'm sure if I went into irc or discord and looked at their conversations it'd be some pretty gay (read: bad) shit, but far less awful than gamergate trannitors and mods.
So far you have to actually break the board rule and you can letter-of-law them from doing nothing. I made a poem about how someone was a kosher floyd-loving artemis and only got a warning, I imagine, because it was directly related to /vt/.
So I like the Jannies here.
>Ban me for something that wasn't correct, and we'll see how good I am at IT outside of my job :^)
