Like, people are still basically judging on a results-driven basis for the guy, but because of the small thing he did early on, people are willing to directly credit him for positive outcomes and assume a longer game plan.
It's not a bad thing at all, and it's far better than Omega basically doing the opposite of "hardcore fan appeal" and going for "fuck you integrate the brands now." It's just, even if I didn't plan on catering to the hardcore crowd expectations to a tee, I'd want to do something small to keep them in my corner, and that could be what happened.
