>>55615956I was into Nijisanji for a while, particularly when it seemed like they had a lot more freedom in how they operated on an individual basis. But, over time, that seems to be less true; I assume AnyColor becoming publicly traded is the cause, since it seems like most entertainment companies entering the stock market leads to the death of creativity, and the timeline, as far as I witnessed, seems to match up.
Then there's the stacking yabs. I wasn't picketing on the Zaion side because she did seem to be responsible to a point, but I do think she was mistreated. It's hard to understand what's going on in NijiEN exactly, but it definitely sounds like there was a change in management and/or policy at some point. LazuLight and Obsydia seemed to have a good relationship with them a couple years ago (one example that comes to mind is when management learned Pomu was a fan of beatMARIO, they---along with Elira and Finana---pranked her by secretly allowing him into a LazuLight karaoke stream), but now it sounds like NijiEN management ranges from chickens running around with their heads cut off to outright obstructive.
Nina was my go-to in Niji to watch, but now that she's gone, all I have left of interest is Pomu and the occasional Mika VOD.
Plus, the fact that the talents aren't even allowed to have their own YouTube play button plaques is pretty shitty.
