It was a mixture of all 3 during really shitty times in my life. I'm forever grateful for all of holomems and kurosanji and indies, even if some of them turned out to be shitty streamers. They were a great distraction and lifted up my spirits a lot. Nowadays, I'm in the Entertainment camp because being a unicorn just doesn't make sense now that life is relatively "normal" post-covid.

What fills the void are the clips - the very funny moments, the huge narratives, the genuinely seiso moments, and just overall good time. Normal streamers were able to do a little bit of that itch but the vtuber clips community was so OP back in the day and sometimes now that it would never compare.
I don't think you can get anything like these narratives and huge discussions with regular streamers besides retarded drama. Also holy shit, it's a breath of fresh air to not be consuming so much stupid retarded influencer drama from content creators besides kurosanji and these other vtuber faggot streamers.
SO MANY STREAMERS just want the bag and I get it but they completely don't understand why lots of oldfags love this hobby. These fake ass normie streamers posing as vtubers because it's the big thing makes me puke and seeing many of them in kurosanji and some indies is bleh.
