So it's like technically yes but actually there has not been as strong of evidence it really-causes cancer as we think. I still wouldn't go eating burnt up food all the time but no it is not like cigarette level dangerous at all in comparison.
Also not just burnt foods are probably and for you but fried ones too, but I mean you probably could guess that. Some foods like deep fried ones are also high in advanced glycation end products (AGEs) which are implicated not really in cancer but in diabetes, Alzheimer's etc. Maybe it is no coincidence there are so many fat fuck diabetic Southerners who have eaten mostly soul food throughout their lives.
