Bau Bau is in essence EN's own version of (๑ᆺ) Nun-nun. It is a greeting first, an affirmation second, a ritual third and above all else a go-to phrase which can be used anywhere and anytime and still be understood as having a positive connotation. At the risk of implying that FuwaMoco are EN's equivalent to Sora (they aren't) it is important to emphasize that the demon dog's "branding" is quite unlike any other English Hololive member. Their reliance on Bau Bau goes hand in hand with the pace of their conversations and the very Japanese feeling of their streams. Bau Bau is easy for both EN and JP viewers to say and transcends the limitations of language. So in a way, I suppose Bau Bau is dogspeak for Unity.
