Personality is subjective, but clearly a lot of people like her for that too, so lets go with it. Gura is good but she's not 2x better than everybody else in company. This is what people mean when they think "Wow she has so many subscribers? how is she this far ahead?". As much as you say it's not to do with the algorithm and or peoples YouTube habbits. I'm afraid it is.

Nobody will say she isn't, but talent doesn't skyrocket you this much above everyone else. Riding the hype train, a subscriber snowball effect and the workings of the sites algorithm are what attribute to that. As other Anons have said in the past; Gura could get a new voice actor, she could permanently switch to a new outfit, she could stop singing altogether, all of this and her channel would still be going stronger and faster than the rest for a very long time. That's simply how this technology works.
