Starting about 1-2 hours ago and going till about 3-6 hours from now depending on exact schedules for the day, the threads are comfy as fuck as long as
1) No majorly controversial thing has happened in the last 24-72 hours(depends on the yab scale)
2) There are actual JP streams either happening or starting in at around ~5-6PM JST at the latest
3) The JP streams/streamers can attract a modicum of attention from the posters here, but aren't major tourist attractions(consider the upper limits of this to be that one Pekora stream where she allah akhbar'd a church with fireworks, where 80% of this thread was engaged but the tourists weren't here yet for the majority of it)

and the /jp/ threadThe best part is, it's not even just the best time to discuss JP Holos, it's unironically the calmest time to discuss the EN's, explicitly BECAUSE they're not dominating the thread. Whenever ENs are dominating the thread, it's a terrible time to talk about them, because 90% of the replies will not be earnest or made in good faith, and the few earnest posters have a high chance of being extremely jaded at that time.
It's genuinely magic hours and I feel bad for anybody whose impressions of this thread consist solely of primetime USA hours.
