I've returned to this game after a year and tried to get all achievements from a new file without looking anything up. Some of it went easy, like getting the level 100 achievement randomly on a coin farm run of endless stage 1 without glasses. But how the fuck do I get couch potato? Deadbeats keep getting in-between the attacks and stand too close for me to hit them and I can't last 2 minutes.

Any character with good defense / self sustain is easy to get couch potato with.

Yes. I ran into it several times. Have too many stamps lying around at once and any remaining ones wont spawn in, even if you then get rid of them.
I think it might vary, since I could've sworn it was 5 or 6 but that wasn't the case in a run I did yesterday (albeit on a different stage). Just keep in mind that there are enough stamps to get 5 to lv3 with 1 left over, as of the last update. So fodder ones you really don't need into backups you might to save on memory.

Got super lucky with getting the bouncy ball and Ankimo with my first two levelups and then 11 minutes in with a collab anvil spawning right on top of me. I guess I'll have to put more coins into the armory because I don't see myself getting this lucky again in a while.

Imma say try it with a solo weapon build
Solo weapon = you get to build defensive items quickly, you get to build stats quickly. And soras weapon is strong enough to shred anything even without the solo stamp.

Try: Breastplate, Limiter, Bandage, PikiPiki, Body Pillow, Ubersheep/Membership

Stats: HP > Pickup (until 600 ish) > ATK > whatever
Thats probably enough bulk that you can stall till your special which makes you functionally immortal

Delaying JP4 for stars1 would be absolutely idiotic and bundling a girl gen with a boy gen is doubly so and this is coming from someone who doesnt mind them and actually watches Roberu and Oga from time to time. This will probably be worse for the stars image overall as the nips will feel that 4th gen got slighted for the homos. And the backlash might be big enough that the homos wont even play the game on stream because of it.
Best case scenario for them is to just release the entire JP stars cast as its own patch like the ID girls, and bundle them with some major content patch (like a Halls of Torment mode) to satiate those that dont care about them (like Holohouse for the ID girls).

JP Gen 3 + 4 is big enough that you dont have to add major content for it.

Ehhh, we'll see. The ideal roster update seems to be 9 and Holostars has been marketing itself as a core group of 9 for years now, so much so that they insist on always appending Uproar as a separate thing so that it doesn't fuck with the branding: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qrK2WYaH0bM
Maybe throw in the 3 graduated Stars for a roster of 12, and Uproar comes the patch afterward with all of Tempus for another 12? That sounds like a tall order for the ginger stepchild branch, tho.

to test this load up the trainer and set health to infintie and then go afk. come back at 18 minutes to see how many stamps are sitting idle.

Cover can be oddly spiteful at times, so it could go either way, but Coco being in that fighting game long after her graduation could get Rushia a spot despite her termination. I won't be surprised either way. although I do lean that it's unlikely. Given how he got guilted into changing Ina's cult because she's a thin skinned little bitch, there's not a lot he can do to keep Cover's favor if they encourage him not to do it and he does anyway, so I wouldn't hold one's breath. I think having her is better just because more characters and memoryholing is creepy, but it's not a hill to die on.

Exactly. Kay Yu won't want to put Holos in this situation, so he won't add Rushia.
On the other hand if you look at Idol Showdown, you can see that even Pekora was OK with Roberu in that game, even bantering about prices at his bar. Sure, Kanata and maybe Flare would skip the Holostars update, but neither is even playing the early access right now so it's not like they plan on making a lot of HoloCure content.

It's just you. Start with Haachama, but then once the weapon is built up switch to Haato. Use the Projectile increase and/or attack speed stamp. Her attacks are incredibly powerful (since they lower defense by 30%, it acts like a free Gorilla paw) and rapidly hits enemies while pushing them back. You can just sit in place and most of the time enemies can't even touch you unless they spawn on top, even in Hard2. Even ones that spawn on top will die extremely quickly due to how hard and fast her weapon hits.
Akai Haato is one of my favorite to Solo weapon just because of how peaceful it is, you can get up to use the restroom or make a snack or both and you'll still be fine when you come back.

Trivial with Mumei because Friend stil collects XP for you. I think other characters with companions work the same, but I did it with Mumei because of her pretty broken basic weapon and big attack/damage boost from her other passives.

It did feel like a missed opportunity, especially now with Moona’s special giving her a different design for the character she turns into during it.
However as I thought about it, it would be weird to handle as new alt costumes are unlocked for Haato every update. It is easy enough when she just has one or two, but what about when she has 3 or 5? Would Haachama form always just lock to the goth one? It is s bit different compared to the Moona special handling, since Haato and Haachama are both full kits.

Eh, upgrades are not necessity, but they definitely should be first focus.
As for couch potato, I did it with Roboco both on my old and new PC, so eh. You just need to itemize properly for challenge and character you are using.

For solo weapon runs I normally just grab bandaid outside of a few characters that get bonuses from healing, since you end up with such a high base hp that the percentage healing ends up very high and very consistent.

24pin(power for motherboard and some other small bits) goes into the 24pin socket
4pin(CPU power, sometimes 4+4pin for some high-end ones) goes to the 4(or 8) pin socket
every other power cable coming out of the power supply goes to something else
6pin(sometimes 6+2pin) goes to the graphics card(if you have one and it needs them)
the flat one goes to harddrives or SSDs
even if both GPU are 6+2 and CPU are 4+4 you physically cannot push them into each other's holes because some pins aren't square(they have one corner filled in)

I'm watching Holocure first time in a long time. When I played last time I grinded (Mumei, stage 2 with something like Halu, Piggy Bank, SCT and others) enough gold for all upgrades and I unlocked all characters. I only upgraded Council cause of Mumei.

The game has that already, refund upgrades in the shop. Many are just flat percentage bonuses and modifiers, so you can just turn them down and they won't impact gameplay other than making you weaker. They refund for the same price you pay too so there isn't even real coin price to do so.
When you are fully powered up, you are powerful. It makes sense.

Halu + Superchat + Headphones, the rest up to you but building defensive is better
Skull + Solo stamps mandatory, I always pick up Pekora as third but dunno if it's the most optimal, I just like AoE it gives

But for Irys, just grab the greed stamp, superchatto time and turn on the weapon block so you only have the main weapon and max marketing for more fans.
For max coin farming, you might want to avoid your weapon doing too much damage. So avoid damage multipliers, since coins are per hit with the current stamp.
Grab Halu of course for even more spawns.

Yeah, once someone posted the 10 minute rate of gold for fishing on the best rod I lost any motivation I had to keep doing Irys runs KEK. Im in no rush to G21 the new characters though, I havent even gachi'd the current roster yet aside from about 5 characters

you're maximizing hits within a fixed amount of enemy health for the most coins.
.5 irys is so broken she can minimize damage while maxing haste/coins and still beat all content in the game. endless greedrys runs go over half an hour.

Coin farming builds in 0.6 easily make over 100k per stage clear with any character. Reine can easily push 150k if you're good about using her special and you're on a map with a lot of swarms. There's also fishing which is substantially better than anything else but I would not be surprised if it's nerfed for the release build.

Afk farming is technically possible but you have to play for a few minutes to set it up first and you'd probably need an auto clicker or something to select options on level ups.

Single item with greed, explosions, and either multi-shot or haste.
Explosions will trigger greed and multi-shot and haste make you shoot faster so whichever you like more/get first.
halu and superchat at least. glasses for more exp(levels), piggy bank for more money(since you are moving all the time). I usually use bandage and headphones as my defense items.
You can get 2-300k if you get greed early.

But like everyone has said it sounds like there are going to be MORE money options. I think everyone, like me, feared they were going to take away money farming options instead of add more.

That build will no longer work in the Patch 0.6. Greed stamp is reworked and now the coin proc is dependant of the damage done.
For farmers Reine seems the obvious choose considering her special and her high CRIT build. Not that really matters, considering that the Holohouse's fish mini game is a much better way of obtain coins.

When her original VSinger contract expired over a year ago she was given the option of either graduating or fully transferring over to Hololive-proper as a streamer. She chose the latter, got (another) redesign & has carved a niche as the Geoguesser chuuba since.
Kay Yu mentioned in his Koe interview that it doesn't sit right with him that her design process didn't get the attention to detail as everyone else - albeit out of necessity - so now that he actually has something to work with he wants to rectify that.
TBPH this almost-definitely plays into why Mumei got a slight rework this patch too. He said somewhere around release time (Reddit AMA maybe?) that he simply didn't watch Mumei or know much of anything about her, hence 2 of her Skills being based on her lore description.

I mean her health did probably play a part in it, even if she didn't like to say it. Back injuries are one of those things that never totally heal, and hers was apparently bad enough she wasn't even sure she would recover at all. Even if it healed enough that she could get up and move around a bit, it probably still limited what she could do, and meant that she COULDN'T double-dip like Ina. She clearly wasn't going anywhere with Hololive, and things like 3D were probably going to be difficult if not impossible for her, so she dropped out and went back to focusing on her art.

except no, she's just the best at it. there are plenty of low damage, high hits-per-second characters that produce much higher coins per hour with greed setups than conventional coin-focused builds. she is best, not singular. not that it will matter in 14 hours, though.

Yes and no, steam has a limit of 100 achievements for new games and Holocure already had more than that, but the ones that they've implemented should unlock automatically if you had them already and they're planning on adding the rest later and will still be tracked in game in the meantime
