A fan's job is to:

To be fair when Cover gave Ina the skimpiest outfit in hololive they forced her into a role that she hates. She never wanted to be a lewd vtuber and that explains why she has been extremely distant with her own fan base. Ina has been doing the minimum possible in holoEN until she could get a redesign.

Idol corp is the only major vtuber corpo that allows that. Nijisanji lets their livers select from a pool of models while Hololive talents get a finished model. Gura said they have no control over their design and they could only ask for tiny changes that could be completely rejected.

people just don't understand the difference between disliking a design and disliking the way some people see this same design. she loves how she looks, which is the reason she draws herself so much, she just asks people not to obsess themselves with a lewd vision of her, considering that she always tried to build a "seiso" image of herself, and that it was fully working until the back meme appeared. she doesn't even hate lewds of herself, she just hates how some people want it directly associated with her all the time. as she said, there's a time and a place for everything, and some people should learn how to behave with this idea sometimes.

My guess is that Ina's merch sold well so Cover fought extra hard against anything that might change that. Flare had a skimpy outfit that she absolutely hated but it still took her over 28 months to get a redesign. Hololive management cares far more about money than employee morale.

Cover has always gone the extra mile for holostars. The guys wanted redesigns so they got them.

She complained about revealing outfits during her room review and got a 3 month Nijisanji style vacation. Hololive contracts limit what employees can say and Cover is earning millions of dollars from her merch.
