I'm just trying to get some insight on this phenomenon.
Do you guys like Virtual Youtubers Ironically?

I like anime for a few reasons. I like hentai for more reasons. I just don't see the appeal of Virtual YouTubers.
You're just watching a grown man play a video game poorly while a girl does ADR.

I don't even like anime. I was always put off with the kawaii girl aesthetic and vtubers were no exception, but I stumbled upon some of their streams and translated clips and was like "what the hell, let's see" and was legitimately surprised at how entertaining and genuine they were.

it's the perfect synthesis of anime and vidya, and there's only one relevant vtuber that's pretending to be a woman, which nobody here even watches except to shitpost. Blame the anime industry for churning out nothing but garbage isekai LN adaptations and not even bothering to animate the entire story
