I'm mentally spiralling how I would make a Niji VS clone, and I think one would have to genericize a lot of things to make it easier to build.

For example, I wouldn't give the livers individual main weapons. I'd have a list of selectable weapons - 8-12 in ver 0.1, and then patch more in down the line.
