before this update she was who i used to idle farm coins while doing something else.
just stay on top of the portals with her dodge, garlic that picks the exp and constant aoe dmg from portals and garlic all i had to do was pick the skills and special if i got in problems.
i do believe she is one of the best for 1hp endless she is with who i have survive the longest at 1 hp 43:42

Absolute Wall and Lamy Water are needed for Yagoo survivability. Holy Fire seems to be the best DPS option I can find. Broken Dreams I'm not sure about, but Rap Dog is a must. Glasses and Halu are must drops within 10 levels like you say. Membership is only 50 attack so it doesn't seem that useful to me. Personally I don't find healing needed at all for late game. I know it's a meme to say just don't get hit but by the time Yagoo is fast enough to hit me he'll one shot me even with 3-400 HP. So I just take Phoenix Feather to account for any missteps. I personally take both anvil items to help me get to a +25 weapon with decent rolls. Definitely thinking about replacing the coat with something better like Headphones or another defensive/offensive option, still can't decide.

Personally I'm not fond of the coat but maybe you can make it work. I just don't like the worst case scenario for it, on top of that the chance you'll get the stats you need with those levels is left to chance. If you're running Piman, maybe three weapon build would work better but the jury's out on that. I mainly say that because you'd use the super collab for utility, and since Piman boosts main weapon damage, you'd use all your anvils enhancing that. Besides that, Eldritch Horror only works on kills and I don't feel comfortable running healing that only works on kills in Endless. But maybe it'd work on certain characters. It all sort of depends on your character too. Maybe someone else has better advice since I can't break 10m like some of these other people.

I've found my tank build lacking when it comes to getting past 40 mins with the damage ramp, so i may try switching to a higher dps setup like you've suggested to optimize the exp and score i can get in the early 30 min range. Broken dreams seems really good for the aoe slow and ill need to try out feather + headphones myself to see how they go.

defiantly agree on eldritch, as the hp of yagoo's later on is too much to even land a single kill for that hp recovery, will also try dropping coat as taking it in a tank build probably isn't a very smart idea...

I'd also say your build also depends on who you're using. You might swap a weapon or item depending on character. Like for Kiara, she prefers damage reduction effects and probably doesn't really care for healing.

yeah both running high hp builds and piman in general are extremely character dependent. I was running it on Kiara earlier as her hp scales the best with the stat up and her sword is strong enough with its multihits and large aoe even at high levels.

It's definitely nice for her, especially since she's gonna be face tanking a lot so high HP builds are the way to go for her. I'm stumped with Subaru though. I can't tell if it'd be better to do an HP pump build or not. Like despite being a tanky character, it's shockingly hard to survive Yagoos. I guess it's because one skill is worthless against them and the other only activates every ten seconds. And the third skill is a tank skill, but her HP sucks. And if you want to run away, she doesn't have bonus speed or a slow or a stun built in. The fastball hits shockingly hard with some investment, I could hit 3k per ball and she throws them out like a machine gun, and this is just with Piman. The downside is the fastball hit limit really sucks, only 8 is pretty bad for killing large groups. But if you go for a normal, full build, she dies a bit too fast because of the lack of control abilities. And if you go full tank, you can survive Yagoos for a really long time, but you don't do jack shit to them. I don't know.

I only played Gura for like 99% of the game. It makes me sad that she's just mid-tier. I played some of the others that have a more fun playstyle for me but I always ended up back with my oshi. But if you want all achievements you need to play everyone.

I don't think PPP is worth it if you are not going for solo weapon build, and Bandage is amazing against Yagoos, especially when you are already running Full Meal. Didn't test Focus Shades myself yet, but with all collabs being range/multi here it should be a decent option, probably replacing coat. I really don't think coat is viable as a leveling item.

Well, my record is about 36 minutes. And despite me complaining about her fastballs, they do hit hard and fast if you build for them. I've had runs with her that ended around 600-700 HP but those were three weapon runs where I used the super collab more for utility, like Snow Queen to actually have a stun. If I went more for damage, I might be able to push 4k or even 5k on them but I don't want to sacrifice too much survivability, and like I said the power of the main weapon is offset by the hit limit. Her biggest perk aside from that is just having very accessible invincibility, so sometimes you can just run into the center of Yagoos and keep throwing shit because they can't do anything anyways.

If you're still able to consistently kill the yagoo's at 36 mins i would genuinely suggest eldritch as its heal is based off up to 5% max hp, this combined with membership/breastplate and your usual tank setup may be enough to survive the poke you receive, the other thing i was considering was focusing on using her ult as it ignores knock back resist and does fairly high dmg. With high hp, idol costume and the spicy seafood udon food although i'm not sure if this would work in practice.

After fishing for a few hours I have concluded that from time to time the fishing minigame will just drop inputs for a second or so. Doesn't seem to correlate with harder strings or anything, I've seen day/night transitions blamed but it doesn't seem to be reliably that. If you're good enough you should be able to save your streak either way, but it's pretty easy to get tilted and drop the string if you start second-guessing your timing when it happens.

It's mainly not enough speed though, I guess I got spoiled on Kiara's slowing fire and took it for granted, that stuff allows you to kite Yagoos for a really long time without getting hit. If I go solo weapon and invest a bunch in Speed/HP, I can survive way longer but at the cost of not killing Yagoos. It's mainly trying to find the right balance of bulk, speed and power that's hard. The special strat, I'm unsure about. Because the special itself is good, Subaru with Plush can just dive into a bunch of enemies if she's near death to hopefully get more revive stacks if she has none, but the special isn't the constant damage you need to get high scores.

try using frozen sea for the aoe slow effect, i found it really useful for late yagoo's, i believe the special strategies is only viable if the food triggers per hit as then you can build around it almost always being up, the speed stamp is also viable if you can't outrun them anymore, even with its damage decrease the speed can buy you an extra 2 mins, other than that i suppose you can hope for more speed stat ups or take something like energy drink.

Check the Achievements menu on the main screen. It lists what unlocks what. IIRC the only Items/Weapons locked behind characters are all "survive as [x] for 10 minutes".

I'm pretty sure that Bomb's purpose is to basically extend the AoE of your main weapon, so any stamps/effects tied to landing a hit with your main weapon benefit greatly from it.
So in 0.5 yes. Now I'm not so sure, since Greed got reworked to emphasize damage-per-hit over number-of-hits.

Kay-yu needs to add a way to start with Halu in the first roll. I lost almost all my rerolls trying to fishing it in the first pull. And that cost me the 4th collab. Not that matters, my wife Roboco is so godman highspecs that ended with Halloween Myth in less than a minute.

Zeta's only scaling stat is crit but it's only for one Skill and it isn't even damage-based, it just gives you more EXP. Nowhere near Suisei, who has all 3 skills and her main weapon built around Crit (all for DPS purposes).
The TTGL glasses you unlock by playing her for 10 minutes are perfectly suited to that one skill tho. So I'd advise grabbing them ASAP and aiming for a final collab build with no melee weapons, to maximize their usefulness. Off the top of my head, if you're on track for all of that, see if you can nab Study Glasses along the way too; the new added effect should gel very nicely with the rest.
Oh and she has no healing so at least one healing/defensive item is big value. The stretches when she's not invisible can feel like forever.

others have stan'd the shield, i personally thing the ball spam offers so much knockback its hard for even the yagoos to get close until 35min
but get one of them
ultra collab wise id get wine instead, wine can freeze yagoos and give you room to move inside the crush, since frozen yagoos you can just walk through them for no damage
but this is a more defensive playstyle if youre someone like suisei or calli who can literally kill them faster than theyre coming in yeah probably fist

Yes, you can cook food which gives you a buff for the next N runs. There's one that increases Halu chance, and one that increases Glasses/Labcoat chance, among others. Can't stack them so it's still worse than if they just let you start with Halu.

Yeah, you can now cook food and take it to levels. Different kind of food gives you different kind of buffs, and Strange Seafood Soup greatly increase the chance of Halu appearing. Again, it's not the perfect way to implement early Halu, but it's the best we have so far.

theres a stamp that gives % chance per base weapon hit to drop coins
pick whoever you want and look for the stamp then go ham
supperchatto helps just to automatically pick up the coins but super experience also picks up coins now so its not strictly necessary
if you really want to farm then use irys, her base weapon multihits so many times it gets alot of rolls on the stamp

I tried. I think it went relatively well, but my killrate really dipped around 37. I got really screwed by anvils, 15% fails felt more like 70% fails. Maybe I could last like a minute longer and kill Yagoos faster if not for all the anvil damage lost.

glad to hear it went well anon! i would suggest taking one of the %25 dmg reduction item's (membership/breastplate) as they really help when tanking late game yagoo's. You could also possibly swap out eldritch for another item as it loses value late game.

Has there been any math done to compare the glasses and coat? I assumed glasses were superior but I'm doing casual stage one clears for fandom ranks and with an early coat and random weapon picks(only ended up with one collab; Broken Dreams) I still got to level 101 with Okayu by the time I finished the stage(20:13). This is with a file that has most upgrades at level 3-5.

well first of all pick someone like sana or kiara that has high base hp, since the +10% rolls off that, some characters only have 40/50hp so its a big difference
make sure you have all the +hp buffs in the A-chan shop
then plan to go endgame so you keep getting the hp rolls so coat/glasses, and bandage pikipiman for hp
also Jingisghan super Collab gives 100hp so get that
i reached 800 hp as sana doing this

Depends on the character, some awakened main weapons are super strong and can carry you for a while as you work in items and look for weapons. Either way by the time you hit 50 it's good to have a collab+item ready for your super collab of choice.

They're a coin loss early on, they start breaking even fairly quickly and by the time they reach level 7 or so they start making money. Currently mine are level 25-30 and collectively they bring in nearly 200k going from full stamina to empty.

Her skills and weapons all crave fast XP and when stealthed, becomes an almost instant kill weapon.

If you need more defensive items pick up Headphones instead of anything else, you need to stall until you reach stealth again, offensively you're looking at Idol Outfit and anything that can improve her main weapon.

If you're going to play with Weapons on, then cutting board and BL is good to keep her from being horded, basically anything that has a KB so you can time the stealth proc yourself.

If you manage to find Iofi's sticker, it's over for every single boss

You can switch with the solo stamp, but the attack speed one should be even better. In that stage you probably don't need stop stamp to slow down enemies, but it's also an option.

It's hit or miss and loses a lot of value in Endless, mainly due to the fact that anvils are RNG and even though it provides guaranteed anvils it still requires four levels to max it out and it's only going to provide 9-19(realistic average would be somewhere around 13-15 if leveled quickly) so you'd still need to see about ten RNG anvil drops per run for it to compete with something like the Researchers Coat which, if you play well, is basically guaranteed to give 22-24 levels and only needs to be upgraded twice.

It's worth noting that the increased chance of anvils spawning also works with Kaela's skill so it's a genuinely good item for her but it still loses value in Endless.

Blacksmith's Gear? Generally considered very good since it only requires a single level of investment to get a lot of value out of it, though this assumes you get it early on.

I just recreated this and got a similar amount of kills, more coins, but died way earlier (~32 minutes). My final score was just over 4m.
So unless the bonus points for hardcore survival time beyond 30 minutes is massive, it's probably cheated.

Hardcore + exp items + CC items/stamps + infinite kiting.
It's actually a decent setup. Snowqueen freezes everything that comes in range, and frozen enemies don't deal collision damage. Cuttingboard had a small knockback to help push enemies away. Mumei's homing feathers are strong and homing means no real need to aim, plus stun/knockback stamps apply on the explosions as well so tons of CC. Then it's just grab every speed powerup and outrun for as long as you can.

Not a ton. We can almost calculate his score straight up by the screenshot, but the big problem is we don't know how many of those kills where Yagoos, and they appear to be considered either mini-boss or boss tier. So the longer you survive, assuming you are still securing some kills, the more your score shoots up. Looking at his end results, ignoring all yagoo kills, he'd be sitting ~7M for score, which means he'd only need
-800 Yagoo kills (if they are considered bosses)
-4000 Yagoo kills (if they are considered mini-bosses)
With 28k kills, neither of those are impossible.

Add additional floors to the house.
Add a temporary fishing buff that costs a fuckton of coins.
Add more food that isn't just basic stat boosts because Pufferfish is already broken for that(I hope it gets nerfed).
Merge the speed/yield soil because honestly faster growth is pretty useless. Having the two combined would make it great for when you're fishing/farming for worker food.
Add a new third soil option that triples time needed to grow but significantly increases yield and gives a chance to provide a rare version of the crop which can either be purely for collection or used to create enhanced versions of current food or entirely new foods.
This would probably come off as pretty "trolly" but a fandom wars minigame that basically amounts to an auto battler. Pit your workers against other fan groups. It'd probably be a bit too much work to give each fandom a unique skill set so just have a few different skills and allow the player to assign them as desired. Make this another coin sink.
Add a few generic simple minigames. At least one puzzle game since JP loves those. Tie at least one grindy reward to each.

We need some way of perma-trashing items. I will never take Labcoat, Feather, or Sweets, for example. All that they do is burn off eliminations and rerolls and I would be better off if I had never unlocked them. A minmaxer who uses Cheat Engine to just buy out the shop and unlock stages has a huge advantage over me because I actually played the game and unlocked the achievements that dumped this garbage into my pool.

VS has everyone start with a different weapon but everyone can get every weapon for the most part (don't know if thats changed) collabs are more like evolutions that require a buff item and you can't aim. In VS the difference between each character is minor. Starting weapon is just a basic weapon that anyone else can get. Stats are slightly different. At best you have a passive like getting an additional projectile every few levels. It's nothing major and after you've played HoloCure you realize just how similar they all are.

Not every item is going to be optimal and it shouldn't be that way. I'm assuming you like to do tryhard endless grinds and you get mad whenever a run doesn't come together all that well due to RNG. The thing is RNG is a staple of this genre and many others it was built from. You're not meant to have a great build every time. You're meant to work with what you get while having a certain degree of control to help push things in a direction you favor.

Can someone explain in great detail how Reine gold farming works?
As far as I can tell I just take Superchat and Idol Costume and punch more or less on cooldown. Greed stamp solo weapon like normal. Take lots of stat ups and max hp. Halu/Exp/Anvil builds don't seem necessary

However even with maxed everything I still have to pay a lot of attention to farm any real amount of gold in Stage 3 Hard. It's basically a coin flip whether I get to Myth, and I can't really make it far enough into endless to make it worthwhile. I'm getting about 200k a run only. Do I just downgrade to a lower stage or is there a way to make this work?

Sure, but it has no synergy with the rest of her kit. Her stacks lose 5 whenever she gets hit and her double hit/pick up range skill potentially works.

I found the heal skill's best use to slow down enemies momentarily because it has a 1-2 second delay after you move. To get the most milage out of her skill, you would need extremely specific items and you can't do that in majority of runs.

NTA but for Labcoat, it's because currently it's inferior to Glasses in every way assuming you also take Halu.
Labcoat : 4% EXP every 2s, 1 level every 50s assuming you never get hit.
Glasses : 30% bonus EXP, additional 0.3% weapon damage every level.
In a 30m run, you get 36 level out of Labcoat if you never get hit, while with Glasses you get roughly (your current level without glasses/3) bonus level. With Halu, it's extremely easy to hit level 100 even without Glasses in an Endless run, you usually get it some minutes before YAGOO start spawning. Glasses also come with benefit of scaling your damage over time, while Labcoat just reset completely if you get hit in that 2s gap.

A few things here. For one, get halu. Halu means more spawns, more mob density, and more enemies hit with each ult. Also halu grants bonus coins at the end of a run. Second, there's no real reason to do stage 3 hard for it, your better off doing regular stage 1 or 2.

Items aren't balanced entirely around tryhard runs. I'd wager most people only do it once or twice to see if they can or maybe a few runs for coin farming but those aren't score runs.

For regular stage completion the coat is arguably better assuming you aren't constantly getting hit.

Many characters are like this. Not everyone has a set of three skills that feed off of each other. Sometimes characters just have a nice bonus thrown in.

Endless score runs take over an hour, so yes I'm mad when all that time is completely wasted because I never saw Full Meal. Slapping together a good enough build is fine for stage mode, but missing out on one item kills a score run because the Yagoo section decides your score and is purely a gear check. When 10 eliminations, 10 rerolls, and almost 100 level up screens aren't enough to even see all the items there are too many damn items.

Thats a thing I cant help but think about now. A LOT of people are gonna playt his different ways. Some folks are gunning for millions of coin drops some just wanna play the hard stages some wanna mix/max others wanna do 1 HP or challenge runs and some folks just wanna pick up the game witht he cute vtubers and kill everything in stage 1 over and over.

This creates an lot of ideas on whats best in different circumstances that dont match up and a lot of us more autistic types are likely to spurg out if it doesnt match what we are doing

total exp needed to reach a level scales by the level raised to the 2.1 power. 30% more exp gives around 13.3% more levels.

That would be fucking broken. Currently an early coat can amount to about 24 levels in a 20m stage clear assuming you upgrade it quickly and don't get hit too much(or just take Body Pillow since it's a universally good defensive item for anything other than fighting Yagoo.)

My mistake then, I assumed you meant 2%/s baseline. It still wouldn't be a very big difference overall unless you're constantly getting hit and as I already pointed out the penalty can be bypassed with the Body Pillow.

If it's buffed at all it should get some kind of minor offensive or defensive component. In most cases it's better than the Study Glasses for exp but it doesn't increase damage.

It could be the defensive version. 0.5% damage reduction per level gained through labcoat alone would be good enough. Around 30 minutes for endless run where you would get the coat few minutes in and die after 30 something = 18 to 36 levels depending on how many times get hit, so 9-18% damage reduction.

Depends on character. On Bae I'll go all the way to 100 and prioritize it over ATK until a bit over 80, but on a character with no crit synergy I just take it when it randomly shows up early or over SPD and PUR.
