They're adding on average 9.5 per update and updating about every 6 months. If they keep that up they'll add Gen 3&4 early next year, Gen 5&6 this time next year, then Advent in early 2025, along with starting on any other new members. I'm guessing they'll actually catch up mid 2025 and adding homos early 2026.

My estimate presumed that Hololive debuts 3 gens between now and mid 2025. If they debut more, then it would take longer for Holocure to catch up at the current rate. If they debut less (which they have been doing), then Holocure could catch up in early 2025.

I'm looking forward to Stars. Tempus should have really fun play styles. Kay Yu has said he has an easier time coming up with kits for characters that have a strong theme. Its why Hololive Fantasy should be really fun too.

The simple solution is to just make it so that Holostar characters only unlock Holostar-related weapons/items/collabs. Then, if any talent actually wants to outright avoid them, they can do so without missing any items that they would want in their game in the first place. Presumably anyone who wants to avoid male characters would also want to avoid items referencing them. That makes Holostars entirely opt-in.

Kay has already confirmed that Holostars will be added to the game at some point. it wouldn't surprise me if they're mixed in with some of the girls like Stars Gen 1 and Holo Gen3 (minus Rushia) and so on. All they really have to do is to make their achievements and items optional/not part of the 100% completion.
