>>56702871to be honest, nijisanji only does some stuff better because they were born as a big entertainment company and had a head that was god-like in his role that even after leaving the company, the foundation he built is strong enough to hold it up despite the quality of the company degrading over time.
meanwhile hololive was born as a midsize entertainment company that wasnt planned to blow up like it did.
you can see that from how hololive likes to sit in its own corner all the time, which is usually how midsize companies tend to act.
>>56703480to add to your point about how boring some of them are without the brand, most video content creators for companies will leave, do their own stuff and be better off without the brand, meanwhile those who leave hololive or nijisanji do fine but rarely do better without the brand.
though part of that could also be caused by the continued existence of the brands overshadowing everyone by default, where as companies like polygon dont have a dominating hand over the industry of content creators.
>>56704011you like them for making good midsize content anon but theyre a midsize company in a major company position and while thats good for the talents, it also means everyone stuck below them arent getting the attention to push for innovation.
hololive is good yes but hololive could become mid or even bad and people would still suck them off, as seen with nijisanji where its become bad but people still accept the state since theyve created sunken cost.
