While I wouldn't say I am unhappy, I don't feel like I achieved true happiness and stability.
Most of Gosling's roles are quite sad and depressed, but I think the closest to the real world is Ken if you take away the comic relief moments and focus more on that he is practically there and "liked" but ultimately useless and never achieving his goals. So he seeks for a purpose.
