Girls are proven money makers and any female gen will probably make more money than any male gen in a vacuum, but they have to worry that it'll take a bite out of existing groups and impact the brand as a whole. More stars doesn't really carry much risk since there isn't a lot to lose to start.

I was sad all day but now it's disappointment hours. I just want to vent a bit without thinking.
I'm just thinking back to all the times that Magni's talked about the brotherhood he built with Tempus in pre-debut and during their early months, how they supported each other and that that bond wasn't something he'd ever take for granted.
Also when he talked about how the boys sacrificed things and helped him to make the 1.5 model happen.
How HQ was something special that couldn't be recreated.
So if they did choose to leave of their own accord and leave all that behind... well fair, it's just a job I guess but I can't believe that it sucked that much it was worth leaving all that behind.
Maybe I just don't have as many friends as these guys do but I'd try to make things work if I had the opportunity to work in a creative field with people that I considered brothers.
I'll be back to being sad and not resentful tomorrow, probably.

Model updates take months to process normally, we know that IRyS had hers on the line for ages before it actually arrived, so we can probably extrapolate from that that it's six months minimum for it to go from confirmation to completion.

If we assume this is about right, then Magni and Vesper would've had theirs confirmed before management shifted from Omega to Jap who then had to handle the pipeline.

I'm inclined to think that they fought management over thinking the new models weren't good enough, having gotten their way with previous management, then got canned when they got too hotheaded.

There's legitimately not enough information present, even if you do believe cover's corpo ass statement 100%. I do believe the company forced Vesper and Magni to stop streaming abruptly m because they both had streams they had scheduled and seemed to look forward to. It's certainly a Japanese company tactic to take away all work from an employee and strongarm them into "quitting" rather than firing but we don't have enough information to show that was possible. Vesper and Magni are pretty ride or die together so I can see only one of them getting in trouble and the other one stepping in to defend and then get in trouble as well. I don't know what evidence exists for contract stuff, it's not impossible but it seems really odd to only try negotiating a new contract at the literal last moment to the point that you have to stop streaming because a contract expired.

At this point all we can do is hope for the orc or Prof to leak

Their effective termination wasn't something on the docket for awhile that they were hiding until it went down, the whole branch was caught off guard by it. IIRC rrats said he had a huge falling out with IRL fleshtuber friends that left him in a depressive state. Joined Holostars for an experiment and something fresh, probably didn't expect a following there and maybe had fun for a bit.
After he exploited the magmites fo therapy and money, made some new connections - filtered fans from Holostars to his RM youtube account decided to go back to fleshtubing after he got an increase in subs.
I think also he had a back-injury they kept him from doing what he wanted for his fleshtuber videos.
He also had Bettel move IRL closer to him and they do shit on his fleshtuber account..
IDK about the whole aspect with Vesper, he claimed ride or die for him so who knows.

Lmao Vesper definitely had too much control over his model because it doesn't look like Pako's previous work and it also doesn't look like it was made by a professional, his first model was pretty balanced, a small color palette with good harmony, also you can tell that he's supposed to be a vampire.
His new model ads that green and brown color but keeps the yellow and the purple for some reason, also his glasses are a different color now which just adds clutter, I can't tell if he's supposed to be a vampire or a scholar anymore and that photocard with his first model doesn't look good. That mod was always larping and attentionwhoring in her chat early on. Now that it has calmed down i feel more comfortable sharing my thoughts as long as having some time to think about the graduation. I think with the graduation today I feel both sad and disappointed. I feel disappointed that they got a revamp and left. however i feel like when they wanted to get the revamp they didn't know they were leaving. I also feel bad for Pako who is 0 for 2 with children. i feel sad that we never got a full HQ boys off collab. I feel sad that Altare and Axel have to pick up the slack for the anniversary and had to wait for the other 2. I found the tempus boys and i guess stars through judge Magni and i thought they were funny through that stream. I watched more of them because of it and i feel that the HQ boys are the best group that feel like they are actually friends and not just people squished together. We have the rest of Tempus who do well in group collabs but don't feel as close. I think with hindsight I feel the reason they left is that Magni was overwhelmed with work and I think that Vesper had trouble with the corpo work and especially with game perms. However i guess on a positive note i think it is better for them to leave now then stick around for another year and be miserable. I think going forward I hope Magni and Vesper are happy even if they look a little different because I enjoyed their content. I also hope that the boys that remain do well. I will definitely continue to support them because I still enjoy their content and I am looking forward to rust.

This can be asked for any vtuber that makes it into a corpo honestly and the answer is always that there is no good reason.
At least say, Coco (and Haachama but she didn't) HAD a good reason, that being Management isolating her completely to appease chinks. Same for N*n* in the other company, as she's been getting NONSTOP hate since debut and no support from her company. Of course Kira too for his health.

I genuinely can't think of many cases where a graduation "made sense" other than those. All the other ones feel like they just wasted an opportunity for no fucking reason

I can sympathize with Magni's situation because he wants to do bits and not just play the same video games endlessly. Still a very easy job but if you're creative it can be enervating I'm sure. With Vesper it really does feel like he squandered a great opportunity because he's too autistic.
