I don’t watch male chuubas much, but HoloPro seems worse at dealing with them than other corpos. Firstly, males are basically second-class citizens within the company, having little interaction with the girls and being excluded from most major events. You could watch Hololive for a year and not even realize they have a male branch. The few interactions cross-gender interactions that happen often seem rather awkward and seem to cause a lot of drama (even if the interactions were not particularly drama-worthy).

Contrast this with Nijisanji, where males are fully integrated and feel right at home in their corpo, or even VShojo, who doesn’t even have a male branch. And that’s not even getting into indies or smaller corpos. The best cross-gender interactions I’ve seen in vtubing are probably between Ironmouse and CDawgVA, even though the latter is not in Ironmouse’s corpo or even a vtuber. I don’t think there will ever be a male-female friendship in HoloPro as good as what they have. They will always give off the same vibe as what you’d get watching a nerdy boy interact with the popular girls he was forced to work with on a group project.
