Yeah I have one.
Specials share stats with the main weapon right? Hence Greed Stamp working with Reine's Tonjok?
Does that include the weapon TYPE? I keep rolling the Headband on Reine runs and going blank. My brain's screaming to pick it up since Tonjok SHOULD be a Melee attack, but her feathers are multishot and I don't know if they thought that deeply into it.
Then again, I remember an anon who posted detailed ID movesets of his own during the last update. And he specified that Reine has this gap-moe thing where her lore lends itself to a ranged mage but IRL she's plays games like an unga-bunga barbarian. Which is basically how she ended up after all? So maybe Kay did make an exception, IDK.

...Good question. I'd assume so since it isn't related to her own stats, but it's still a calculation so maybe that screws with it.
When I was wonder stuff like this I'd do a solo-weapon run in Stage 1 and just pay attention to the numbers. In fact, BRB. I'm now interested myself.

After a bit of testing, I've found Mel to be consistently the best heal-based character. I consistently get 35+ min runs with her while Choco and Fauna struggle to break past that threshold. Is Mel just underrated or am I just doing something wrong?

I did it with Fauna, is your fandom maxed along with your upgrades? That type of run requires everything to be maxed out basically. Her ult is the best for this because she becomes invincible. You could also probably do it with Mumei or something or any character that goes invincible that has a good ranged attack.

Fauna's issue is that when going late, her skills are trash. Whisper still gets used up before the Headphones will proc, unless its been fixed, but her guardian tree ability does not proc fast enough without her whisper even if youre sitting in the healing circle so her damage goes down quite a bit.

I also feel like her attack is kind of weak

Yep, I definitely felt that Whisperer is a pretty weak skill when the yagoos pop up since at that point you are constantly being hit which does not allow you to build up its stacks. No stacks = no heals from Whisperer = no additional procs with guardian tree.
On the other hand, Mel's Acerola Juice skill synergizes extremely well with Jingisukan. It basically gives her constant Lifesteal with no downtime which lets her flood the screen with bats.

The game has a REALLY BAD save system implementation. No proper A/B saves (there is an attempt in the game code, it doesn't work), and it either keeps the save file open at all times, or opens it for writing all the time.

Basically a recipe for any power failure or crash to cause file corruption and total data loss. The cloud wouldn't save you - if a save gets corrupted, it'll get wiped, and the wipe would propagate all the way into the cloud.

Back up your saves.

It's a Game Maker game. I think the developer would have to cross well pass the threshold of sanity to make it into an MMO.

What could realistically happen is some sort of co-op mode. It would still take a lot of elbow grease to make it happen, but at least it's possible.

Actually, scratch that, provided you have Gachikoi and harvest wheat and strawberries for the coin boosting meal you can get close to 6 million (not even joking) coins per endless run... So 90 mins tops.

Is Koyori's coat useful? I guess for it to be useful you have to get the shield and that means 2 items slots wasted. Unlocked it almost immediately but I've yet to use it. Sounds pretty ass.

the full score calculation is long, but the simplified version is: final time + enemy kills + yagoo/miniboss kills + final level = final score. iirc you can change the name used for leader-boards in settings.

her main gimmick is spawning watamates that follow her around and damage enemies. she has an ability called "Watame did nothing wrong" that triggers when a watamate dies (gives her a buff or something)

For the most part yes, though the Unit stamp specifically affects the main weapon negatively, but your other weapons positively.

It has to compete with Glases Halu and Kaela ribbion as a way to accelerate your level gains. Ive seen it work in a hard run where Kaela was trying to avoid getting hit and running away didnt cripple her but outside of that the other ones just do FAR more

It's 4% of your current level every 2 seconds, assuming you don't get hit, so that's a free level every 50 seconds. I don't know if it interacts with glasses or not, but if it does then it gets better. Regardless its 'worth' is determined by how much extra you'd get from it. Assuming you have it by 5 minutes, that's 18 extra levels by the 20 minute mark, making it worth (based on stat ups per level):
~144% ATK
~90% HASTE
~54% CRIT
Or some combination of the above. That's better than any item that provides a flat value, so as long as you can reliably avoid getting hit, and get it early enough, it's very worth desu.

What are you on about? blacksmith goggles is probably the worst item in the game because it does nothing for you without an anvil and you can get pretty screwed RNG wise because of it. From my own personal testing, ive found that credit card is the better choice to take if youre wanting to do a ton of weapon upgrades.

Yes its useful. If you look at the leaderboards youll see people have about ~20-30 more levels compared to others on equal times and thats due to the coat. Its main problem is that its effectiveness will obviously go down past 30-32 minutes when you start taking more damage consistently. You dont really need the shield, thats up to you. Its objectively worse than the glasses though, so if youre ever going to pick between coat or glasses, glasses should always be the pickup.

There's your problem. Holocure started out as a VS imitation, then grew into its own. Just continue playing, only the literal first game will be like VS. After you get the Special and Stamp at least, it'll be very different. Also ALWAYS get Skills, don't be like these YT retards who don't get Skills and end up making discombobulated builds gunning for efficiency which leads to samey bullshit instead of unique gameplay.

The problem with using Sana is that if anything DOES get through, she dies, because her main doesn't actually touch her. I achieved it with Fauna. Her main isn't as strong, but it touches her and her healing makes up for the difference. YMMV though, you really need limiter and knightly milk.

Its all RNG and a lot of the game is tinkering with the RNG. The first thing you should always have is Halu and one of the others to compliment it. Right now Glasses doing double duty with attack+ AND being a lower rariety edges out Ribbon.It can have a lot of payoff with Halu/Marketing and the bonus to end game upgrades really stacks up alot

Try to stick to close-range weapons, to maximize that EXP buff. Hell try building around the Headband. Also she actively wants to get hit semi-consistently, so consider Headphones or Bandage or Pillow or Breastplate or Plushie for that. On the flipside avoid Hat, Shades, Milk, Sake & Labcoat for those same reasons.
Given how one Skill buffs Speed, one buffs Haste and one grants I-frames, I'm pretty sure she's supposed to be a hit-and-run whirling dervish. Proccing the AT Field is like chucking a coked-up honey badger into a rush-hour subway car.

Unironically Ayame is probably best used with solo weapon only, if you want EXP then you don't want any ranged weapons nor size increasing modifier. The good thing though is that her ult partly scales with her main weapon since she just slashes faster.

Snow Queen, Idol costume for spamming ulti and then just turn her into crit monster or just go full anvil autism because her normal attacks are really good. Unfortunately her early game is still weak and unlike Suisei her skills lacks bigger synergy. Lady of Oni gives you haste for your Rambo ulti but that's it. Just leveling up the Bubba skill does that, but if you use the Beetle item you can double his bark's damage. I think when you increase Ame's speed you also increase Bubba's but I'm not sure. Also, milk and limiter will increase his pickup range.
