>>57079883>It's kind of shocking that Hololive would give a concert day away fro free.Cover will make their money back. Many fans are spending their refunds on Hololive merch or superchats. Z-aN is also on the line for fucking it up. So you can bet they will be required to compensate.
>Sure, it's good PR but they could've easily still gotten paid for it because the fans would've waited for it if they did it after the other set dates.Businesses almost always give refunds for rescheduled events because not doing it leads to resentment. Many people pay for a ticket because they know they can watch it live on that date. If the rescheduled date doesn't work for the consumer, then they are gonna feel like they got cheated out of money. It may not legally be a "bait and switch", but the sentiment is the same; they paid for something they could use and got something they can't. Upset customers are not repeat customers.
It actually ended up being a massive win all around for Cover. They are are still getting paid AND they got great PR. They got to have their cake and eat it too. The only loser in this situation is Z-aN. Who now looks a bit incompetent and will have to reimburse Cover for losses. Notably, however, Cover did not publicly throw them under the bus. Because that would be terrible business practice. Not only would it burn bridges with a service that might git gud in the future, it would also make others wary of working with Cover. They wouldn't want to be next on chopping block.
