Sure there was theoretically an opportunity to steal some market share from Niji in the EN male market, but it never really materialized fully. Tempus makes enough off the backs of a few members to keep the branch alive and probably barely profitable, but that doesn’t justify spending additional resources on it. They gave Magni a decently thorough touch up and Vesper a full new model less than a year into their tenure, that’s more inversement than the branch needs to have.
Niji will always have the distinct advantage of cross gender collabs being the norm. Most Holos won’t do it because they simply make too much money staying away. To go even deeper in depth the market that exploded Luxiem and the Niji EN males is one that Holopro can’t even tap, Chinese fujos.
I’m not saying that the Stars should have zero resources, I just don’t think big marketing pushes have really done anything to help them thus far. The money spent on those Stars ads could have bolstered some of the lower performing girls and generated more of a return.
