The reality is that Hana left Kawaii because they wouldn't help her with a JP visa. She did a short spat as an indie before she had to stop; because Star Ring didn't want her streaming before her debut. She debuted in Star Ring as Beryl; where she worked hard and streamed often. Then she just recently left Star Ring with a timing that made people hopeful she got into HoloEN gen 3. Which clearly didn't happen. Beryl's actual fans are just disappointed because her talents are criminally underappreciated. Some are also concerned about the possibility of her giving up her idol dreams by joining Phase Connect.
The real issue is that a few cloudtomos(Nene's fanbase) have a hate boner for Hana/Beryl, and constantly try to shit on her whenever her name comes up. They will tell you that she constantly leaves corporations and is a flaky bitch etc. The antis hate her for being the first person to graduate from Kawaii; which apparently makes her a bad person that doomed the company or something. Some of them try to falseflag as Beryl fans to shit on other Vtubers(like Nerissa) in hopes of making everyone else hate Beryl too. It's pretty pathetic, but that's life on /vt/.
