>>5783061No, people actually did sub to almost every channel. People do sub in milestone streams and then never watch again. This is very easy to see in that, again, subs go up but views stay the same. There's no correlation.
>ccv favours timezones and superchats favours people that milk superchatsI see your point but ccv+views are the true, objective measure of how popular a streamer is, not only ccv.
If you dont watch a streamer AT ALL, not live not even 5 minutes of the vod, then you're a dead sub.
"Dead subs" are a constant problem in youtube and its easy to see channels from 2015 with 3 million subs uploading videos with 50k views. There's no "dead views" (unless its bots), you actually have to be there to watch the video. You actually have to engage, to interact. You actually have to be a fan of the streamer to be a consistent view.
Views are the real deal, ccv shows more actual ""fan"" engagement. SCs can go up and down depending on the kind of stream it is.
Subs sincerely dont matter. You can sub and not touch the channel ever again in your life. All my old phone accounts are still subbed to the channels I used to watch, they're permanent dead subs. The people that used to watch EN in october with regular 40k ccv are still subbed and they've not watched a hololive vod in 6 months.
