>>57370573I found it hard to tell, even now. He talked about a lot of things in that stream. It was pretty ominous the way he hinted at it, though. The fact all the boys including the VG boys were upset about something that happened near VG debut/Vesper's disappearance with Axel feeling like he had to try supporting them or at least not seek support from managers already busy with VG's debuts makes me feel like it probably wasn't just an Axel thing or a Vesper thing. Plus all that talk about things changing overnight like (metaphorically) a kid walking downstairs finding their parents had a really bad fight and were breaking up and life was going to change drastically, him having to go out drinking and having a heart-to-heart with an old friend because this thing that happened was really fucked up, and talking about getting really emotionally fucked up when stuff involves his friends and not being able to save people (with the whole story about the old friend he lost). He also talked about the anniversary plans getting screwed (half-anniversary, I assumed, but it made me kind of wonder if things got messed up for their full anniversary as well, with the talk about a future concert of some sort? He hinted at stuff that was supposed to happen in the summer)
At the time, paired with Magni's menhera menshi involving burnout and how much Vesper means to him (and how the fans and Vesper were the main people keeping him sane), I was worrying about a graduation (maybe Vesper had decided to leave in X months, after finishing his contract/other projects that had to be completed and everyone was devastated). My graduation worries faded with time, but if I think about it, I'm still not sure that is out of the question? Like maybe he was going to leave after finishing out the year and was still supposed to last to the anniversary but something went south before the anniversary that spurred that hasty exit. I have no idea. But with Magni's burnout, Vesper's issues, and how close they are to each other, I really wouldn't be surprised if one of them leaving was enough to push the other over the edge, on top of any other things they were unhappy about. Maybe there was some bullshit happening behind the scenes that came to a head near the anniversary and one just couldn't handle it (my guess would be Vesper, after he disappeared a couple times) and the other wasn't happy there either and decided they could leave together and support each other as indies
