>>57733268I'm gonna start doomposting here. I think this gen should have waited at least a few months until the studio issue is resolved. I know they're two different departments, but hoisting 5 extra model when numerous people have to skip their 3D live so far doesn't seem like a good idea. Hololive is quickly approach Nijisanji's problem of having too many mouths to feed.
Secondly, every single Hololive gen has shown a clear connection between the Holo names and their models. This gen doesn't have that. In fact, their names and models just don't seem very memorable at all. This sounds pretty schizo but I think having a name that can easily be associated with a unique model is pretty important. Also, visually this gen is really generic, like something from BangDream or Idolmaster.
Thirdly, what is their goal? If it's a music project, are they gonna get prioritized over other more established members who are paying out of pocket for their ori songs and concerts? How do current members who are working hard on getting their music career feel about this? If they just gonna be hopping into Minecraft and other FOTM games then it's a bit of a disappointment.
tl;dr gen debut should have waited a few months.
