I think you are coping anon. It may have been sung well but it's about as generic as many other hololive produced sounds-like-an-anime-theme-song and just as forgettable. It doesn't look like it'll have legs after the first 2 days.

Oh, I agree that it's definitely generic but that's what JP idol pop sounds like. The buff won't be from the song itself but from the much larger audience that HoloJP has compared to HoloEN. Just F5 it every now and then and you'll see what I mean.

Another thing is that with the new channel it can be purely for the songs instead of all the dumb 'general content' like hologra is.

i thought the mv would actually be really special considering it's a whole new branch, maybe a mix of irl composited with 3d or even 2d models like the first teaser. You know, something creative and impactful. But it just ended up being like every other 2d slideshow music videos with camera zoom and pans over few illustrations.

The marketing and hype for this was all fucking wrong. No one knew or cared until all of a sudden it was revealed as what it actually was, basically another Gen. If they did the normal new gen trailers this would have gone over way better but then people would be pissed that it was an idol group instead of actual vtubers. No win situation.
