>>57794553no its really stupid that they pushed the same edgy or handsome looking 5 characters at once. also hololive characters are popular because they look somewhat silly or cute. reminder sora was never edgy, she was a high school student at her debut and azki was a quirky virtual idol and after a while transformed into a cute girl.
edgy designs work if they are actually veterans like botan or suisei, but otherwise it isnt even needed by people. the current sub numbers show everything.
