Like the absolute top end of the market runs for less than that, something in the 6k range including design, art assets and riggings with expressions, accessories and animations. Looking it up the girl's model is definitely not that. If her assets alone were worth 5k, I can't imagine her brand name matched it. And 5k is way overshooting it in all likelihood.
I don't really know the details but it sounds like the company ripped her off fucking hard.
