Personal opinion is that they have a big deal with UMG going on, they have a bunch of useless fucks who were doing the likes of INNK they dunno what to do with, and someone with power is of the opinion that growth requires them to move away from overly anime stuff (they're still chuubas, but they're normal humans and not mythical characters, plus I keep thinking about Kiara talking about the new album cover being abstract and "not overly anime" and her cosplay MV idea).
