>>58231727It's still good, just not as good as DO U, the video was fine, Kanauru did a good job as always and he's(?) worth every cent, I can't talk for anyone else but I personally have 2 main issues with the song, first, Kiara needs to get more serious with her singing reps/take some classes, there is room for improvement there and she should move towards polishing her technique as much as possible as her main goal, and my other issue with that MV in particular (again, the animation is fine, I'm talking about the music) is that is too safe, I know is pop and as such it's to be expected for it to be 4x4 slop, but there are other tricks that can be done even on 4x4 slop, something that I have learned about what makes a song really good and gives it replay value (at least for me) is that aside from top tier instrumental and vocals, the real key is to make the song sound different through the entire track while at the same time making the whole track sound like it's the same song, sounds kinda paradoxical but I'll try to explain my shit, there is a huge difference between recording intro, verse, bridge, chorus and looping these last 3 over and over again until you get to the outro, and instead of doing that well you could still loop those 3 BUT you still can make each part special by making each chorus slightly different from each other so whenever the song keeps going and you arrive to the "chorus" again, you'll be hit with a slight different flavor from what you already tasted moments ago, that way the song keeps you guessing and you get hooked more easily from that.
That's why Suisei's songs are so good, is not only the combination of her voice and the top tier instrumental in the background, is the care and attention to detail through the entire song to make each of it's parts feel special. Same with Mori and some of her songs, I still believe Red and End of of a life are her best works, and just like Suisei's is the attention to detail that shows how much soul they put into them, it shows how much they enjoyed making them and it's something that they should never forget because it's very common in the music industry to forget about that if you're being pressed into shitting as many songs as possible to fit some quotas, like an entire album for instance.
So that's about it from my perspective, not saying pineapple doesn't have attention to detail nor soul, it definitively has but there is still improvement left on those areas, she's on the right path and she's getting there.
