>>58578652Interviewer: What are the important things that Houshou-san values in her music career?
Houshou: About three years ago, around the time I released "Unison," I was contemplating whether I should lean more towards a style that would appeal to a broader audience. However, at that time, my manager advised me, "Marine-san, you should definitely continue with songs that suit your current character!" Since then, rather than releasing music per se, I have been focusing on creating works that revolve around the character of Marine.
Interviewer: It's been mentioned that you choose genres for your new songs that you haven't explored before. What kind of songs would you like to try in the future?
Houshou: I'd like to sing cool rock songs, slightly emotional songs, and even some songs with a retro feel from the Showa era. I also think it would be nice to have songs with a Western music vibe.
Interviewer: The comments on the MV of "Bishoujo MuzaiPirates" are filled with words of blessing, but what kind of presence do your fans have for you?
Houshou: Captain Marine is the type who loses motivation without fan reactions. For example, if I'm drawing something at the moment, I often post a small part of it to see the fan reactions and get motivated again! Captain Marine can give her best in her activities thanks to the fans' reactions, so I'm full of gratitude!
Interviewer: While I don't believe you're overly focused on records or numbers, now that you've entered your fifth year of activity, if you were to set a goal, what kind of record would you like to aim for next?
Houshou: Since we've come this far, I'd like to aim for 3 million YouTube subscribers and strive to become the "Number 1 VTuber in Japan!"
