>>5858678>The gradual tone switch from simple farm life to top-tier body horror was fucking masterful. The mystery, the suspence, the action. Beautiful.>Of course, also a lot of praise goes to Gura's complete immersion in the game and pure joy of playing it. She's done so good.Mori does a great job DMing pretty consistently because it's something she loves doing and she plans things out so well, so it's pretty expected. Gura blew everyone else's RP out of the water, which is hilarious because people were doomposting about how disinterested Gura was going to be, how little thought she put into her character since she kept scrapping ideas, and how she's quit a few sessions in because TTRP isn't her thing. Cut to literally the very beginning of the stream:
constant witty southern girl banter
>I'll do it. I'll do it!. I'll do it twice!">"scoop your cow shit, I'll scoop mine">"fuck it, we're takin' the ford."instant complete immersion
>[nervous laughter] Please don't roll paw's car... UH OH... there's no roll bars on this...>Lord help me I don't crash this car...>[Panicking] Oh I'm gettin' the belt buckle, may as well just accept the fact I'm gettin' the belt buckleShe WAS Scout the whole time. There were tons of times throughout the whole length of the session where I tuned out and wasn't sure when she was speaking as Scout or Gura because she kept the curtain up the entire time. She was seeing the small, rural farming town she made up for herself and fully committing to engaging in that crafted reality.
Luv sharkie. Best session hands-down, Can't wait for her to meet Yuul and Watoto.
