>>58716579Mori 2.0 was a period of time in mid-late 2021 where she was streaming more, doing more Hololive collabs, organizing more activities like tournaments etc. with Hololive members. They weren't the highest quality or anything, but Mori was trying - which is the only thing most people wanted her to do. Try.
Of course, it made a lot of deadbeats as well as Holofans give her a second chance (the eponymous "2.0") and she big numbers for her streams during that time.
There's a whole section on Trash Taste (a.k.a Lean arc), because that arc was where Mori 2.0 crashed and burned, causing most deadbeats to leave and never come back -
> Mori collabs with Trash Taste (https://youtu.be/tIU0xG-lXkQ). Most Holofans are fine with it, even excited about it at the time.> Guy from Trash Taste, Connor, implied that Holo talents aren't good streamers in a conversation with Ironmouse (https://files.catbox.moe/91mnvk.MP4).> Time passes, Mori mentions TT a significant amount in the months after the collab.> Longtime member in Mori's member stream says she shouldn't associate with them (https://files.catbox.moe/lfcm82.png).> Question from another one of her members simply asking whether she agreed with it caused a bit of a tirade against her members (https://files.catbox.moe/75cb93.mp4). Mori said that Connor apologized to "Everyone in EN".> Kiara says an unexpected celebrity messaged her (https://youtu.be/8Flzv4pZUak?t=18760), chat tries to guess. she says she isn't in contact with anyone from Trash Taste (https://youtu.be/8Flzv4pZUak?t=18919) outing Mori's lie about Connor's EN "apology".> Starts getting more shit from her members.> Mori threatens to send the money from further SCs mentioning this issue to Connor. Actually does a 50 sub gift on his stream.> "Condom money for Connor" SC happens.> Replies to a 5 day old anti fanart (http://web.archive.org/web/20220123054143/https://twitter.com/moricalliope/status/1485121754624593924) that implies deadbeats are cucks.> Becomes first Holo talent to get DOWNVOTED on the Hugbox that is the Hololive subreddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Hololive/comments/sam9io/uhh_calli/htukq15/, https://files.catbox.moe/lxuexz.png).> Asked why she did it, apparently she was drunk. Again (https://files.catbox.moe/z2z0mm.jpeg). Nukes all the comments and apologizes, goes on a break.> Implies she was on "Lean", then corrects that it was just regular alcohol (https://web.archive.org/web/20220124193835/https://twitter.com/moricalliope/status/1485136066008944640).There was a whole rm stream debacle during this break as well, but you can look that up yourself.
> After the break, begins collabing with holo members again but it's painfully clear she isn't interested and is faking her enthusiasm, the entire Terraria stream is an example (https://youtu.be/8ZiNmfUCEt4).> Obviously, won't stop mentioning TTfags (https://youtu.be/Zm_Q5yLdgas).> Later, Joey from Trash Taste makes an entire video shitting on Nene for appearing on an irl magazine without understanding what the magazine is about (https://youtu.be/Q5ZHcqBumPc).^ You can dive the archives for more info on this issue.
If you think she's "redeemed" herself this year, then good for you, keep enjoying.
This list is simply a collection of stuff that slowly alienated her fanbase at that time.
Personally I was already no longer watching her much even before this series of events, but seeing her rm do a TTRPG collab with them RIGHT AFTER she postponed a Mythbreakers stream was what finally pushed me into straight up hating her.
Mythbreakers was the only content from HoloEN that I was interested in (that and the HoloJP Holotalks), and it was depressing to see what happened to it.
A lot of deadbeats blamed the other girls for not showing up, but considering all the examples listed above, the TT related stuff, as well as Mori's tendency to lie about completely inane shit, it's pretty obvious that Mori was the one who dropped the ball on the whole thing.
