>>5887335>My first reaction hot take is that asking Gura out isn't actually inherently psychotic.I'm going to drop the word psychotic because its a stupid line of questioning and say that asking *GURA* out is wrong on principle, not just in efficacy.
You are approaching the character of Gura and asking for a date with her roommate. On principle this is wrong because you would force her to break character to say yes or no. Gura has stated before, as part of an offhand comment to turn down a proposal, that she considers herself an idol and idols can't get married. While you aren't asking to marry her you would be asking her to enter a relationship which would also break this rule in spirit.
Therefore, you cannot ask out gura
Well now, what if you ask out the roommate directly? Well that would require doxxing her, because any approach using gura as a medium would break the prior rules. And doxxing her is an invasion of her privacy and by extension wrong.
The only point where asking gura out is appropriate if you have a previously established relation to her (which holds its own restrictions) or you would have to run into gura at a bar or a cafe by sheer chance (because any intentional step towards her specifically is an invasion of her privacy) and ask her out there.
You cannot simultaneously respect her boundaries *and* actively attempt to start a relationship with her. Unless she decides one day to do a fan meetup, and during the meet&greet portion you ask her out in person, or something like that where she is inviting you to break the fourth wall with her.
