Besides, considering that she was relatively fine with bread while in Japan, in comparison to the stuff she usually eats, it's probably the shit that's used to enrich it, rather than the gluten. And they "enrich" damn near everything in America, so not eating bread wouldn't make a difference. Something else she doesn't suspect will likely fuck her up instead.
