>>589700611. The methodology is not accurate at all because of sample selection error. It uses the data they got from past yt videos when the dislike numbers were public, then extrapolates the results to the dislikes. It only factors in past behavior, not the present one where there's no dislike bar visible anymore
2. The dislike bar uses info from the likes given by anyone who has the extension installed in their computer web browser. 63% of the watch time comes from mobile devices, not from computers
3. The type of user that installs the extension is the one that wants to see how many dislikes a video has and how their dislikes are being shown in the bar. That means there's a predisposition to dislike more frequently from someone who has the extension
4. Most videos are not dislike bombed, they are around 1% dislikes. So the creators who claim the numbers are accurate (only a few of them made videos about the extension) get a number that's close to the real number. And by close it could be 0.5%,1.5%, 2%, 3%... They are relatively close to 1% because they are small numbers
5. The vtuber audience behavior is also different from the normie audience but the extension uses the average user behavior
Kanata already stated the extension gave higher dislike numbers. They are magic numbers that aren't even official
