Currently. working in a corporation with 500 employees, the CEO has no idea what mid to lower management is doing, he just trusts that upper management is handling them to handle the others. Can't imagine Yagoo's situation is much different, not to mention he probably isn't fit for CEO. He seems to have a good eye for scouting talent, but most likely sucks a picking corporate employees

That's actually true. Ultimately, YAGOO is too far removed from the day to day running. Besides, he founded a tech company, he has no experience and no clue about idol shit. He has people handling that for him and if these people are fucking things up, in Japanese companies the way to the CEO office is far, far longer than in other countries. He's going to be very confused if more people after Coco graduate but it's going to be too late.

How you can tell who has never had a real job in their life. Cover has had tremendous growth in the last year. The BOD is probably very happy with overall performance. But there are many parties with money at stake who also have a say in the companies direction and the CEO literally works for them. Literally. As in they can fire him and tell him what to do. Yagoo probably still has a stake but they brought on investors a long time ago. So now he has to play politics and try to win enough support to do the things he wants to do.
