Cyberpunk wasn't even that bad at launch if you played it correctly (as an immersive sim). I didn't get any bugs when and I played it at launch. The people who got bugs were 12 year olds who thought the game was supposed to be like GTA and did dumb shit that CDPR or QA testers didn't even think of trying to do.
After that, it became a trend to hate on the game so they made Midrunners to turn that into a trend of saying "muh redemption arc!!!"
