There's your problem. You should have multiple monitors to do multiple things in general, watching streams just being one of them. I honestly don't know how someone could manage with a single monitor.

second monitor if I'm feeling fancy. Sometimes just a background tab and use it as a podcast
Most of the time though I watch my 3view oshi and send chats at a rate of one every minute or two so I'm pretty engaged. Phone is just a super emergency last resource thing for me.

I watch them on PC if the stream is engaging enough I keep it on fullscreen on my main monitor
If it isn't that interesting I move it to my second monitor while doing something else on main
If I don't enjoy a stream enough to keep it open at least on the side I might as well turn it off

At night I lay in bed with my eyes closed and open my eyes if it seems like something exciting is happening.

Headphone in PC, stream tabbed out on desktop so I can listen while doing other things, stream open on phone so I can still see her and use chat. Also phone makes me count as a viewer since I have adblock on PC.
