They got into a fight with management and were fired. What is curious is they waited until after getting their redesigns and Magni did say in his final members post that he always repays a debt. Cover didn't want to damage the Hololive reputation in the EN market with a double termination so they acted like Vesper and Magni chose to graduate at exactly the same time.

Magni really seemed to overestimate his popularity when he tried to shake down Cover, Vesper was a giga menhera and probably went along with Magni out of some weird friendship or thinking "we'll be even more popular when we graduate".
