One of the oldest Brand-mascot-Vtubers I can recall is Suntory Nomu, starting back in 2018. Technically, if you want to stretch what counts, Siro started in 2017, after originally being the mascot/cover girl for a mobile game that flopped so hard it didn't even launch, at which point the company simply chose to use the existing assets to get in on the nascent Vtuber trend.
