I hope whatever totalitarian force conquers the planet lasts long enough that no human knows what life without it was like, and then it collapses due to an unforeseen, unavoidable, once-in-a-century-or-so natural disaster. Alternatively, we could speed up climate change and force that disaster to happen now, before a global force stomps on all of humanity's face forever.
